Today we went to hear Jim Hightower from Texas. He spoke with a great deal of humor about the politics going on in the U.S. today. He puts out a monthly newsletter, does a 2 minute radio commentary on the radio every day about politics, and has a syndicated column in several weekly newspapers. A nice wine luncheon was put on by the Kootenai County Democratic Club. John bought one of his books.
Theresa and I drove into town and tried to find the scrapbook store, which had moved. We didn't find it, and we think it is out of business. Bummer!
