Today we caught the 9:10 a.m. ferry, but it left early with two big trucks full of logs joining us. It was headed back to the island right away to pick up a gas truck, which always rides by itself. A large ship had just passed through heading downbound toward Detroit. The Detour Light is just to the ship's right. We drove to the Soo to shop. It poured when we were in K-Mart, and we were stuck there for a while. The Quarry is Drummond Dolomite.

Today this little Tree Frog was trying to help John paint the front window. He pretty much hung around all day. Found him sleeping on the deck on the lawn chair arm when we came home from our bike ride. Note the color difference. The sun was on him in the bottom four pictures, but not in the top three.
