We flew out of Akron/Canton airport at 7:00 a.m. today. Had a short wait in Atlanta. Then flew

directly to Oahu, Hawaii. It was a 9 hour trip from Atlanta. Got our rental cars and checked into the Ohana West Hotel in Waikiki.

John and I walked down to the beach past several beautiful hotels, including the old Royal Hawaiian Hotel, which and painted pink.

There is a 6 hour difference in time between here and home, so when we went to bed at 9:00 p.m., it was really 3:00 a.m. to our internal clocks.
