Pictures 9/4/11 Oahu

September 4, 2011
This morning John and I drove east to see some ocean views and some of the sites along the east and north coast of Oahu. Stopped at Hanauma Bay. It was beautiful. Lots of swimmers and snorkelers, and the color was fantastic.
Stopped at a couple of Lookouts. Had lunch at Joe's in Haleiwa, a historic town. Also had shaved ice. The flavors were strawberry, pineapple, and pina colada. Yum!
Visited the Dole Pineapple Plantation.
Drove several streets trying to find The Punchbowl, the National Cemetery of the War in the Pacific, but we finally found it.
Fly to Kaua'i tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
Pictures Hanauma Bay, Makapu'u Lookout, Nu'uanu Lookout, Pork slider on a sweet taro bun,
note that it is pink, shaved ice, Dole Pineapple Plantation, The Punchbowl, downtown Waikiki.
